
Trey added to Rothbury, take that Bonnaroo!
Today came the announcement that Phish frontman Trey Anastasio will be making a special appearance at this year's Rothbury Festival in Michigan. Trey has not performed an official gig since Langerado in 2007.

ROTHBURY is honored to welcome Trey Anastasio to the already stellar artist lineup. ROTHBURY marks Trey’s first official performance since March 2007.Also new to the ROTHBURY lineup: Holland’s Kraak & Smaak, progressive fusion band Underground Orchestra, the enticing sounds of DJ Harry, Pnuma Live PA, and Fiction Plane.

Today, ROTHBURY announces the Think Tank program schedule and a long list of Think Tank moderators and participants.The ROTHBURY Think Tank - an event within the event offering various buzz sessions and roundtables between leading scientists, scholars, writers, progressive political and corporate leaders, youth leaders, entertainers, and you - will address the topic of Climate Change and Finding Energy Independence.
etown at ROTHBURY, a part of the ROTHBURY Think Tank presented as a live taping of the nationally syndicated radio show etown, will kick-off Friday and Saturday’s Think Tank activities and will feature spirited conversation with Think Tank Panelists and etown hosts Nick and Helen Forster, plus intimate performances of ROTHBURY musical guests including Michael Franti, Citizen Cope, Sam Beam of Iron and Wine, among others.
Curated by the Nobel Peace Prize winning climate scientist Dr. Stephen Schneider, ROTHBURY Think Tank participants/moderators include Time magazine’s 2000 ‘Hero of the Planet’ L. Hunter Lovins, etown hosts Nick and Helen Forster, Empowerment Institute founder David Gershon, founder of Cooler Inc. Michel Gelobter, Native American author and activist Winona LaDuke, organizer of Focus the Nation Dr. Eban Goodstein, and many more.

This is pretty incredible. According to Trey's official website, he will be performing a solo acoustic gig. Even better! Let's hope Trey hops on stage with some of Rothbury's other artists!
