I have watched quite a few videos from Coachella, and this was definitely the one that made me most jealous of those Californian festival goers. This event is definitely on my must-attend list, if only for its mind-blowing line-ups; Prince, Roger Waters, My Morning Jacket, Animal Collective, The National, Hot Chip, Islands, Stars... Need I say more?

Anybody make it to Coachella this year? How was it?

There have been many different and unusual animals in my life recently. My first Video Omelette of the new year features some of my favorite musical animals. Get all your cats, dogs, goats and gila monsters close for this one.

I recently purchased this album on recommendation from several other music sites and blogs. It made it to the top position of Pitchfork's annual best album list for good reason. This two part song starts off almost tribal, and ends up morphing into a completely different animal. Very fun stuff.
