N.E.R.D., TV On The Radio, The Mars Volta and a whole bunch more added to Voodoo
The tenth annual Voodoo Music Experience, set for the weekend of October 24-26, has added several significant names to their already-outstanding lineup. Joining headliners Nine Inch Nails, R.E.M., and Stone Temple Pilots are Brooklyn indie-experimentalists TV On The Radio, space-funk hip-hop group N.E.R.D., prog-metal screamers The Mars Volta, 90's alt-rockers the Butthole Surfers, as well as several more. Also of note is the addition of the Deep Soul/Raw Funk Revue which will meld Memphis' Charles Walker and the Dynamites with New Orleans natives Big Sam's Funky Nation for what is bound to be an amazing collaboration.

I am pumped for another opportunity to see Dead Confederate, since we ended up missing 98% of their set at ROTHBURY. I am also happy that N.E.R.D. will be there, since I have already decided to miss their ACL set to get a chance to see David Byrne instead. Other exciting adds for me include the Butthole Surfers, TV On The Radio, Leo Nocentelli, Fishbone, Sam & Ruby, The Hot 8 Brass Band and Mad Mike. It looks like they are still updating the official website, but feel free to hop over there to see who else is on the line-up, and what days they are playing.
