Atmosphere's Fall Tour; First Leg Announced

One of the hardest things for me to do at this summer’s Rothbury Festival was to walk away from Atmosphere’s set to make it in time to shoot Phil Lesh & Friends. So needless to say, I was quite ecstatic when I found out that they would be making a pit stop at one of my favorite venues, Slowdown, in Omaha. I will most definitely be in attendance and will be bringing you coverage. Also, don’t be surprised if some of my fellow BOT heads end up hitting up the Houston date as well. Here is the first half of the tour, which is rumored to include over 50 dates when it’s all said and done.
Minnesota hip-hop group Atmosphere will embark on a U.S. tour this fall to plug their new album When Life Gives You Lemons, Paint That Shit Gold. The duo, made up of lyricist Sean “Slug” Daley and beat master Anthony “Ant” Davis, has continued to impress crowds throughout the nation. Joining them on their tour are Abstract Rude, Blueprint and DJ Rare Groove. The first leg of the tour, appropriately named the “Paint The Nation Tour,” has been announced, and so far features quite a sporadic array of cities in its path.
